To the Vintage on Europe’s Dream RouteA suite of toned pen lithographs of 1828 by Johann Adolf Lasinsky (Simmern 1808 – Dusseldorf 1871) in sizes of ca. 22.5 x 29 cm running ahead of their time by their nervous touch. Unmistakable and also quite topically transferred on stone by himself with all its typical marks of a special spontaneity and originality. Inscribed in the stone throughout: (Recorded from nature and lithographed by J. A. Lasinsky 1828. / Frankfort a/M. C. Jügel.), title as above in German-French parallel text. – Fine conditions. Covering the Famous European Dream Route from Mayence to Cologne in Old Germany the suite stands out from rival products in various ways. In particular with a series of rarely depicted places during the wellknown others often are shown from interesting new positions. To emphasize also the decoration with details and figures.
