On Römerturm Colambo with letter-head “Max Schmeling / 2114 Hollenstedt über Buchholz”, where he died now, too. – Several lines thanks for the kind offer of “two gouache paintings by Ridinger” in which he is not interested. As then on the shooting stand, as he once gave to understand, the observation of the game and therewith the merge with nature occupies him on the whole almost stronger than hunting success. – Twice folded. Four minimal stipples in the outer white lower margin, the flap of the envelope slightly damaged.
