One of only 8 drawings in the second sale of Dec. 21, 1874. Besides 42 paintings by Ouvrié and 20 works of other artists were called up. – Two unimportant marginal strengthenings – no loss of image – and a few pleats. – Fine executed work on two joined sheets by Ouvrié whose landscapes were already praised by the contemporary Nagler. – Verso: Sketch of the Alpes by Ouvrié, also in pencil.
