Comp. Howes R 228 and Souhart 402. – Not in Schwerdt. – Souhart only knows the original version Chasses et Pêche dans l’autre monde, publ. Paris 1856, and 3 following editions, resp. 1869 and 1873, all at Mame, titled Chassses dans l’Amérique du nord. The edition here probably the 1st separate edition of the originally 2nd part. Revoil (d. Paris 1882) gained his prestige especially as the founder of the famous Chasse Illustrée. Here now general introduction all to
