Atkinson, John Augustus (London 1775 – after 1818/33 or even 1861). Shooting a White Hare at Tornio. The falcon just swooping down upon the fugitive hare while two hunters wait in a fir-thicket before a scenery of pointed icebergs. Aquatint by Matthew Dubourg (fl. London 1808-38) in the original coloring. Inscribed: Atkinson del. / Published & Sold Feby. 1st. 1813, by Edwd. Orme, Bond St. London. / M. Dubourg sculpt., otherwise as above. 7⅛ × 9⅛ in (18 × 23.2 cm).
