Tischbein II, Johann Heinrich (Haina, Hesse, 1742 – Cassel 1808). A Dead Stag of Ten Points drawn from nature. Etching. Inscribed: JHT (ligated) 1788. 4⅞ × 10⅛ in (12.5 × 25.8 cm).

Sheet 16 of the 1827 Tischbein set of the “Fair Game” Nagler 44 – Lindner 11.2083.01; Schwerdt III, 173 – as a compilation mounted in points of throughout old till earlier impressions. – On laid paper. – Trimmed to the subject, but with enough white platefield. Minimally foxing.
