The macabre-beautiful  flag illustration  as one of the seven plate lithographs without text on the back to Heinrich Lautensack’s “Unpaar” (Horodisch 85; Marcks A 82; Otte-Raabe 301), illustrated, too, in Kristl, Bekenntnis zum sündigen Fleisch – H. Lautensack, BBl. f. d. Dt. Buchh. Frankfort ed. 1975, p. A181, and of notorious rareness as

“ A  large  part  of  the  edition  has  been  destroyed  in  the  Second  World  War ”

(Horodisch). Here from one of the 250 unsigned copies of the normal edition (total edition 300 copies) – Evenly lightly browned with fine tape of former framing running round on the back.
