Painter + graphic artist. – After finishing an education as joiner since 1926 pupil of Prof. Kowalski + Otto Mueller in painting and printing. Up to 1928 draftsman with the “(Breslau News)”. Then 1928-31 architectural studies and, 1931/34, such of art history in Bern + Zurich, i. a. under Wölfflin. 1934 moved to Palestine. 1952 stay at André Lhote, Paris. Numerous international one-man (since 1936) + group shows (since 1937).
