Söhn 12004-2. – Himself writer, journalist, draughtsman & caricaturist Rouveyre is an early champion of the avant-guarde around Picasso, Bracque and Matisse. Close friend with the latter since 1896 this relationship is fruitful also by artistic means. In his own works Rouveyre joins cubist and expressionist influences to a constructivistic-minimalistic conception. – On wide-margined wove paper.
