The  French  Designation  of  the  Stag

Ridinger, Johann Elias (Ulm 1698 – Augsburg 1767). How the Stags and the Deer are designated in French Manner. / How the Stags are designated in French Manner. In fine forest scenery herds of 8 numbered stags + deer of different age lying, standing, grazing + of 6 (5 numbered) stags and in each case opened up by 7 lines subtext. Set of 2 sheet. Etching + engraving. Inscribed: Joh. El. Ridinger inv. del. Sc. et exc. Aug. Vind. / Erstes/Zweytes Stück … ., otherwise in German as above. 25.3 x 36,2-36.3 cm.
