Constructive view across of the new townhall (1605/18) integrating the said old substance erected under dominant participation of the stone-cutter and architect Georg Großmann active in Lemgo and Hannoversch Münden and one of his sons, too. “G.s work is distinguished by formation of clear ground plans and independent composition, the form language shows the influence of the (Bremen stone-cutter master) Lüder von Bentheim (after 1550-1612/13)” (Thieme-Becker).
