Neuchâtel – Lake Neuchâtel near Yverdon. Boat's accessory, amidst in front heavy breakwater. Wood engraving by Arthur Calame (1843 Geneva 1919) after Alexandre Calame (Vevey 1810 – Mentone 1864; "The proper home of his art but kept the Suisse high mountain region", Thieme-Becker) at A. Closs, Stuttgart. (1876/77.) Inscribed: AR Calame d'ap(rès) Alex. Calame, otherwise as before. 11.3 x 18.7 cm. BACK: Part in Neuchâtel. Predominantly large two-wheeled barrel carriage. Wood engraving after Diethelm Meyer (? Baden, Argovia, 1840 – Munich 1884). Inscribed: DM, otherwise as before. 16.5 x 12 cm. – On both sides continuous local text.
