Correggio (= Antonio Allegri, ca. 1489 Correggio 1534). St. Sebastian. Auf die oberhalb der Wolken schwebende, von Putten umtanzte Mutter Gottes mit dem Kind im Arm weisend. Links zugleich an den Baum gefesselt erscheinend, derweil darunter ein weiterer Putto ihm eine Kirche präsentiert. Stahlstich von William French (ca. 1815 – East Grinstead 1898). 3. V. d. 19. Jhdts.
