Carracci, Annibale (Bologna 1560 – Rome 1609). Vna Spia Famosa. A well-known informer. The body stretched forward, crouching down, supporting himself with a stick in his left. Etching by Simon Guillain II (Paris 1618 – 1658 [?]). (1646.) Inscribed: 77 / Ani Carac, title as above. Subject size 9⅝ × 7¾ in (24.3 × 19.7 cm).
