Ridinger, Johann Elias (Ulm 1698 – Augsburg 1767). Chasseur de poulets avec les Chien. Fowl Catcher with the Fowl Hound. The latter standing a pheasant cock near a water, but prevented from catching by a clasp at the fang. His master has already cocked his gun though. In the background estate. Colored handpress print after the etching by Martin Elias Ridinger (1731 Augsburg 1780). Before 1959. Inscribed as the original including the German-French title: Joh. El. Ridinger inv. del. et excud. Aug. Vind. / Mart. El. Ridinger sculps. 11½ × 8⅞ in (29.2 × 22.5 cm; subject size without caption 10⅛ × 18⅛ in [25.6 × 20.7 cm]).
