Ridinger, Johann Elias (Ulm 1698 – Augsburg 1767). This Stag of which the rarest that it was spotted equally on both Sides has been Caught in the Year 1726 in a set up Hunt, in the Hunting Ground next to Obersteinbach (Waldenburg) called the Pfremig, in Hohenlohe. Stag of odd 12 points lying to the right in front of shrubbery. Etching + engraving. (1766-67.) Inscribed: J. E. Ridinger inv. del. sc. et exc. Aug. Vind., otherwise in German as before. 12⅜ × 8⅜ in (31.5 × 21.2 cm).
