Thienemann + Schwarz 502. – Sheet 22 from Design of Several Horses as part VI of the instructive set Design of Several Animals ( “These plates are much wanted and frequently copied”, Th. 1856). – Sm. figurative watermark. – Trimmed on or just within the white platemark and mounted by old onto laid paper with image-sized cutting. In the wide white upper margin of the mounting paper acid-freely backed tear. – Fine, slightly silver-toned impression.
